Founded by Mario Valentino in 1952 in Naples, Italy alongside with his father, Vincenzo Valentino, they were know for their classic luxury shoe business. Due to design differences, Mario decided to created his own luxurious shoe line and eventually have grown his fashion empire to include luxury leather goods, shoes, and apparel and accessories. Some of the career and brand highlights of Mario Valentino includes working with some of the most prominent designers during 1970s and 1980s such as Lagerfeld (designer for Chanel), Armani and Versace.
